How to Register for Classes

Register over the phone or on our website at MacrostieArtCenter.org.  You can also register in person at our front desk.  We accept cash, check or credit card in person, or you can register on our website with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay or PayPal.  Member discounts are available for some classes.  Please be sure to indicate your membership status when registering.

We require full payment to register for classes.  We are not able to reserve places in classes without payment.

Register Early

Registering well in advance is the best way of ensuring that courses are not canceled due to low enrollment.  Some of our most popular classes also fill as soon as registration is available.  If you know you want to take one of our classes, please register early.

Tuition, Fees and Refunds

All class fees are listed in the class descriptions and, unless otherwise noted, cover all materials for classes.  Any additional materials fees are listed in each class description.  Materials fees are to be paid to the instructor at the beginning of the first class.  Tuition for classes can not be pro-rated.  Students that cancel registration seven days in advance of the beginning of class will receive a full refund.  After this time students will forfeit their registration fees.  Refunds may take up to two weeks to be processed.

MacRostie Art Center has a growing collection of art books and other resources that can be checked out by members of our community.  Stop by and ask us how you can rent an art book.

Art Library

Thanks to generous support from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council, MacRostie Art Center has produced a series of art curriculum resources for families, teachers, mentors, out-of-school time

providers and teaching artists.  Art suitcases have been developed based on a variety of art themes and each includes teaching resources and art supplies for 1-3 users.  Developed by a certified K-12 art teacher, these are quality resources that introduce art projects fostering creative problem solving, experimentation with a variety of art media, and an introduction to various styles and traditions in art history.   Contact MAC to learn about these exciting resources and how you can use them with your family or in your community.
