Summer Youth Wheel Thrown/Sculptural Pottery

This fun and inspirational class is open to students with beginning to intermediate levels of ability. Students will learn wheel throwing pottery and sculptural techniques. Projects will be selected based on the student’s level of experience and age. The course fee includes the cost of materials. Ages 6 to 16.

Explore Paint Styles

Spend 4 days exploring art movements such as Surrealism, Cubism, Pointillism, and Expressionism. Throughout the week we will paint objects using concepts from these different art movements each day. All materials provided. Ages 9-14.

Sculpt a Pokemon!

Follow along with local artist and Pokemon enthusiast as he shows you how to create your own clay Pokemon! This project is great for students to develop skills for how to sculpt with clay and create their own models. Sculpt one Pokemon model or catch them all! All materials provided. Ages 6 and up. *Please note new dates! Classes will be on the 2nd Monday of each month.

Family Create Second Saturdays

Join us every Second Saturday from 1-3PM at the MAC for Family Create Second Saturdays!  Free family orientated art activities with a new theme each month!  Ages 4 and up.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Projects won’t take the entire 2 hours so staggered attendance is better to ensure space for everyone. This event is sponsored by Grand Itasca – Fairview.
