“Evening After the Blowdown” by Tim Vahle

The boreal forest, a vast and ancient ecosystem, holds stories etched in the rings of its trees and whispered on the northern winds. It's a place where the untamed forces of nature—fire, ice, and relentless seasons—shape the very landscape, yet it also bears witness to the profound influence of nurture, as life adapts, perseveres, and thrives within its embrace. This exhibition explores the powerful relationship between the boreal's wild essence and the diverse life it sustains, and aims to foster a deeper appreciation for this essential ecosystem. It's an invitation to listen, learn, and recognize our connection to the boreal, ensuring its voice continues for generations.
