Call for Art: Northern Spirit Shop
The Northern Spirit Shop holiday marketplace takes place from November 28, 2025 - January 20, 2026 in the MacRostie Gallery. This unique pop-up holds a wide variety of handmade gifts from local artists including jewelry, glass ornaments, carved wooden bowls, pottery, drawings, wooden toys, birch bark weaving, hand-dyed scarves, paintings, and more!
Now is the time for artist vendors to bring work for the shop. Items are due by Tuesday, November 18.
Submit your work to our annual Northern Spirit Shop in three easy steps!
1. Make an Appointment: Contact the MAC to let us know your preferred date/time for delivery.
2. Inventory: Fill out an Application and Contract for the work you are submitting. All work must be for sale, and the price listed should include MacRostie Art Center’s 40% commission. Print it out or return via email.
3. Deliver: Bring or ship your work and your completed inventory form to MacRostie Art Center no later than Tuesday, November 18. Our business hours are Monday - Friday, 10 am - 5 pm and Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm.
Helpful tips:
Artists working in two-dimensional mediums are encouraged to bring up to 5 framed pieces.
If you are uncertain about what to bring, check in with us first. We’re happy to review your work and make suggestions about what to include.
Make sure to have your work priced and an inventory form completed prior to your appointment to help the drop off process go smoothly. You can contact us ahead of time if you have any questions about pricing.
If you currently have work in the Art Shop, we will swap out any pieces that have been in our inventory for more than 6 months.
