Deb is a self-taught mosaic artist who began creating mosaic art in 2016. Deb primarily works with stained glass, vintage china, ceramics, and jewelry as the tesserae (materials) in the construction of her mosaics. She enjoys creating mosaics on gently used cupboard doors, wood panels, and wood-form cutouts.

Deb is inspired by traveling, gardening, birding, wildlife and nature—along with everyday life adventures.

In January 2022, Deb joined the Minnesota Mosaic Guild. Her artistry has grown since joining and she has been a part of workshops, classes, collaborations, and art shows. Deb has a studio space, located in Grand Rapids in the Central Square Mall, where she teaches classes to those interested in mosaic art.
