After working in natural resources for nearly eighteen years, Candyce started a new life journey as an artist. In her 40’s, she went back to school and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.  She works as an artist full time from her home north of Walker, MN designing jewelry. She uses beach stones, fine silver, bronze, copper, resin, and enamels in her work.

 Candyce’s work is inspired by the elements around her, both natural and man-made.  She is drawn to simple shapes, clean lines, and the textures in nature.  These elements become the building blocks of her jewelry.
