Interested in teaching art in the Giinawind Creative Space?

Giinawind centers and highlights Indigenous art and artists. It is a gathering place for the creative community and an opportunity for cultural connections. We are seeking proposals from local Indigenous artists and instructors interested in teaching community-based classes and workshops such as drawing, painting, printmaking, woodworking, weaving, pottery, beading, creative writing, and more. Artists who teach in other media are also welcome to submit a teaching proposal. We have dedicated studios for drawing and paint, ceramics, and printmaking. We are seeking instructors for children’s, teen, and adult programming.

Exhibition submissions for 2027 are now closed, but please check back in for future open calls!
