The entry fee of $80 is for a space approximately 10' x 10'. Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, and chairs. Applications will be reviewed and artists notified after April 30, 2018. Booth location preference may be noted but is not guaranteed.

The Downtown Art Fair is hosted by MacRostie Art Center, a non-profit organization promoting the visual arts. Your reputation and ours depend on honesty, artistry and professionalism.

Application Deadline | April 27, 2018

Note: Additional applications may be accepted after the deadline if space permits.

Location | The Downtown Art Fair will be held outdoors at the Historic Central School Grounds. NO stakes can be pounded into the grass. This is an outdoor event, please plan accordingly.

Items to be Sold | Art or craft work must be created by the exhibitor or a family member. The following items will not be accepted: manufactured and imported goods, commerical jewelry, catalog products, items made from kits or consigned goods. We reserve the right to ask exhibitors to removeunsatisfactory items.

Sales Tax | State law requires exhibitors to have a Minnesota sales tax number.

Liability Insurance | Exhibitors are responsible for having liability insurance. MacRostie Art Center is not responsible for any loss, claims, or liability for exhibitors.

Jury | The 2018 jury will be composed of independent, community artists and MAC staff.

Confirmation | A letter of confirmation, including details and directions, will be sent after April 30, 2018. Applicants who are not selected to exhibit will be notified immediately and entry fee returned.

Cancellation & Refund Policy | No refunds will be made after booths are assigned and reservations confirmed (May 7, 2018), in the case of misrepresentation of the artist’s work, or for inclement weather. The event will take place rain or shine.

Parking | After unloading, exhibitors will move vehicles to a designated space. Selling from vehicles will not be allowed. Offsite parking will be provided.
