February 12 | Celebrating Creative Wellness 

Sunday, February 12, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. | $75 members/ $85 non

Self-expression through the creative arts offers a healthy method of processing experience and renewing one’s emotional coffers. In February 2017, MacRostie Art Center will host another Art & Wellness Weekend in order to continue the conversation about ways to enrich our quality of life with creative practices. Sessions include yoga, art journaling, creative cooking and more!

Schedule | Sunday, February 12

9 am  – Coffee and coloring

10 am – Yoga with Krista Matison
An accessible class focused on breathwork/mental clearing in addition to the asana (yoga postures). Bring a yoga mat if you have one, and wear comfortable clothes.

11:30 am – Creative Cooking with Kristin Klinefelter
Explore using color and creativity to make healthy, delicious one-pot meals in a pressure cooker or crock pot and enjoy a light lunch.

1 pm – Art Journaling with Margaret Morris
Beginners and experienced journalists will become acquainted with art journaling. All class members will create a page of writing and art. Bring your own supplies if you have them, or use supplies provided.


What to bring*

  • Yoga mat
  • Art journaling supplies (journal/sketch book and watercolors/paints/pencils)

*We will have journaling supplies and yoga mats available – let us know if you will need them.
